Circa to host the ‘world’s largest slot party’in July
Circa Resort and Casino has announced it will host Slotapalooza – what it describes as the ‘world’s largest slot party’.
If you’re looking for a casino bonus with free spins you don’t have to go as far as Circa, but if you’re interested – the event will take place on July 19 in Circa’s Las Vegas strip casino.
The offering consists of an all-day walk-up slot tournament, a $5,000 hot seat giveaway and regular merchandise giveaways.
The slot party takes place between 7pm and 9pm and includes an open bar as well as a host of activities.
Like most casinos on the Strip, Circa has witnessed a downturn in visitor numbers in recent years, leading to a decline in Nevada casino profits, so the casino is hoping to boost visitor numbers by hosting a celebration of slots, announced via the company’s X .
The Slotapalooza party
The big day starts at 11am and, throughout the day, players will be able to participate in a walk-up slots tournament.
Participants have two minutes to try and win as much money as possible at any of the casino’s Cleopatra machines.
The tournament will be free to enter and the winner will walk away with either a Game King Poker slot machine or $2,500 in cash.
The top 50 qualifiers will also receive their share of $15,000 in slots free play prizes.
After the tournament, at 7pm, the event will transition into the ‘World’s Largest Slot Party’.
Guests are invited to socialize while enjoying an open bar, and between 8pm and 8:15pm, the Hot Seats Free Play Giveaway will see $5,000 in slot free plays given away every 90 seconds.
Players do not need to sign up to be in with a chance of winning the free play credits. Circa will also be giving away merchandise throughout the event.
Currently, the world record for the largest slot party belongs to The Muckleshoot Casino in Auburn.
In 2016, the casino saw 3,173 participants taking part in a slots tournament to celebrate its 21st Anniversary.
“Larger than life amenities”
Circa Resort and Casino opened in 2020 after acquiring the site of the former Las Vegas Club hotel-casino, Mermaids Casino, and Glitter Gulch strip club venues.
The hotel, which is the tallest building in the Fremont Street area and the first new casino to be built there since 1980, underwent expansion in 2024.
The casino area of the resort includes more than 1,300 slot machines across two floors, while a three-story sportsbook area includes a $20m 78-megapixel television screen.
The venue has the longest outdoor bar on the Fremont Street Experience and the longest indoor bar in the state.
The tallest escalator in Vegas, which covers three stories, takes guests up to Stadium Swim, which is considered one of the most impressive swimming pool complexes in Las Vegas.
Circa Chief Executive Officer, Derek Stevens, said of Slotapalooza: “Circa has become known for our larger-than-life amenities – like the world’s largest sportsbook and Nevada’s longest Mega Bar – so we knew this slots weekend would be no exception.
“It’s going to be a party for the ages, celebrating the players who bring our casino floor to life every day with a day they’ll never forget.”
